1. Cable main characteristics
This cable shall be mainly designed fo apply for the last link in the optical network(FTTX such as Fiber to the home, FTTH) which terminates the fiber from the optical terminal closure( or called optical splitter distribution poin, SDP) or optical distribution poin (ODF) to the premise termination box at the customer place. Futher more it is able to apply for passive optical network (PON) such as G-PON,GE-PON,etc by specifying attenuation at all three PON transmission wavelengths;1310nm, 1490nm and 1550nm.
The fiber of the cable shall be the fispersion un-shift fiber having low water peak attenuation fiber for full spectrum transmission range from 1285nm to 1625nm (including the extended band 1360nm-1460nm)
2. Fiber Characteristics
1) Geometrical Characteristic
The normal value of the cladding diameter shall be 125um. The cladding deviation from nominal shall not exceed the limits of +-1um.
Cord-Clad Concentricity Error
The Core-Clad connectricity error shall not exceed the limit of 0.5um
The maximum value of the cladding non-circularity shall not be more than 1.0%
Mode field diameter
The nominal value of the mode field diameter at 1310nm shall be 8.6um. The mode field diameter deviation shall not exceed the limits of +- 0.4um
Cable Cut-off wavelength
The cable cutoff wavelength in deployment condition shall not exceed 1260nm according to EIA/TOA-455-170
The attenuation coefficient shall be as follows:

The attenuation coefficient for the wavelengths range from 1285nm to 1330nm not exceed the attenuation coefficient at 1310nm by more than 0.08dB/KM
3) Material Properties of the Fiber
The fiber made of high grade silica,compound silica glasses or equivalent material
The primary protective coating made of UV curable acrylate, UV curable urethane, epoxy acrylate or quivalent material
The primary coating diamter of fiber shall be 245+-5um, accoding to EIA-TIA 455-173
Removal of the primary coating for jointing preferably shall be achieved without the use of chemicals.
3. Cable Structure

Count 2 Orange
The color is in accordance with EIA/TIA-598-A(Optical Fiber Cable
color coding and the color is stable during the lifetime of the cable. The fiber color identification shall be in tight buffer with color specified The fiber may be colored of uncolored.
2) Minimu bending radius of cable
With suspension unit - 130mm(20*D)
Without suspension unit- 35mm(10*D)
